Cambridge Electronics and Robotics Academy: Workshops

Workshop designed to help students build their first IoT projects with Micro:bit , EPS32 and Pico. This workshop will focus on the basics of IoT and how to get started with the IoT concept.

The training will also discuss the basics of the Micro:bit & EPS32 platform and how to connect different sensors, transmit and receive sensed data on ThinkSpeak cloud platform. The workshop will be conducted on the “Project and Outcome” based Methodology with hands-on labs.

This workshop will be give an overview of many concepts, techniques, and algorithms in machine learning, beginning with topics such as classification and linear regression and ending up with more recent topics such as working with neural network, network training and adaptive training etc.

The workshop is based on high school mathematics and Python programming. Many hands-on examples and projects are included that will give you a more hands-on experience of the technology, essentially speeding up your learning.

This workshop is aimed to deliver hands-on learning experience in basic robot building and hardware programming. Throughout the workshop, the participants will learn about the working principles of simple robotics and mechatronics systems as well as the practical skills in prototyping electronic circuits and microcontroller programming.

Workshop based on learning-by-doing concept will enrich the participant to build a fully autonomous rover from scratch.
